THE DOG AND HIS SHADOW

     Once a Dog stole a piece of meat from the shop of a butcher. He ran away as fast as he could. On his way, There was a narrow bamboo bridge over a stream. When the dog was on the bridge, he saw his own image on the clear water of the stream.He took his own image for anotherdog carrying a piece of meat."I must get that piece of meat too,"thought the dog.So,he challenged his image with a growl. As soon as he opened his mouth,his own piece fell into the stream.Thus the poor dog lost what he had in his greed for more.

Moral: Grasp all lose all.

      It was the platform of a big railway station. The platform was crowded with lots of passengers for different trains. A beggar was moving along among the people with his hand stretched out.
