THE KING AND THE SPIDER

      Once there Lived a king called Robert Bruce. He was the king of Scotland. Once the king of a neighboring kingdom attacked Scotland. Robert Bruce fought bravely with his enemy but was defeated in the battle. He fled to the mountains to save his life and the life of his companions. He was determined to win back his kingdom.He organized an army of soldiers and attacked his enemy.But he was again defeated.He was now a man full of despair.one day as he was lying on the floor of the cave,he saw a spider trying to build its web on the roof of the cave.The spider was trying hard to attach a fine thread on the roof of the cave.But everything it tried to do it. The thread losde and the spider fell to the ground.But it did not lose heart.It did not give up its attempt. It tried again and again.It became successful at last.Bruce watched now the little spider had become successful after making repeated attempts.
         That was a lesson for Bruce.It taught him the value of perseverance.He regained his self-confidence.He decided to make yet another attempt to regain his lost kingdom.He reorganized his army and attacked his enemy with fresh zeal and energy.This time he defeated his enemy.He got back his kingdom.

Moral: perseverance is the key to success.or,try, try again.

      It was the platform of a big railway station. The platform was crowded with lots of passengers for different trains. A beggar was moving along among the people with his hand stretched out. THE DOG AND HIS SHADOW

     Once a Dog stole a piece of meat from the shop of a butcher. He ran away as fast as he could. On his way, There was a narrow bamboo bridge over a stream. When the dog was on the bridge, he saw his own image on the clear water of the stream.He took his own image for anotherdog carrying a piece of meat."I must get that piece of meat too,"thought the dog.So,he challenged his image with a growl. As soon as he opened his mouth,his own piece fell into the stream.Thus the poor dog lost what he had in his greed for more. Moral : Grasp all lose all.
