     Charity means alms or anything given to others by way of help.There is a large number of people who advise others to give alms or donations or to do good things.But when it comes to themselves,they try to escape.They pretend to be generous and good in public,but in private life they are just the opposite.They are hypocrites.Hypocrisy is not the sign of a good man.A good and sincere man does things himself,which he wants others to do.He never plays a dual role.if he wants others to sacrifice anything,He sacrifices those things himself.A man who professes universal brotherhood in public must love his servants and other men under him.If he hates them or ill-treats them,He is a hypocrite.Before trying to love others.He must love his own family,his home and his neighbors.thus the proverb means that we should try to do good and noble things ourselves before suggesting others to do it.also means that we ought to help our poor friends and relatives first before helping peo...

      Honesty is a good virtue.It is the true conduct of our words,thoughts and actions.Honesty helps us to prosper in life while dishonesty mars our life.Some people adopt unfair means to gain prosperity. They take to dishonesty course of life.They may gain much by such means for a time.They earn fame by throwing dust into the eyes of the innocent people,But people will hate and disbelieve them when they will know this dishonesty.         This is true in every field.A dishonest servant is not believed by his master.A dishonest trader is published by law.A dishonest public servant incurs public wrath.He is dismissed as soon as his dishonesty comes to light.Honesty is always paying.The master loves an Honest servant and looks after his well-being.An honest public servant I rewarded by the Government.This is true in every walk of life.We should walk along the honest path of life in all circumstances of life.

THE KING AND THE SPIDER

      Once there Lived a king called Robert Bruce. He was the king of Scotland. Once the king of a neighboring kingdom attacked Scotland. Robert Bruce fought bravely with his enemy but was defeated in the battle. He fled to the mountains to save his life and the life of his companions. He was determined to win back his kingdom.He organized an army of soldiers and attacked his enemy.But he was again defeated.He was now a man full of despair.one day as he was lying on the floor of the cave,he saw a spider trying to build its web on the roof of the cave.The spider was trying hard to attach a fine thread on the roof of the cave.But everything it tried to do it. The thread losde and the spider fell to the ground.But it did not lose heart.It did not give up its attempt.       It was the platform of a big railway station. The platform was crowded with lots of passengers for different trains. A beggar was moving along among the people with his hand stretched out. He begged in a manner as if he were dumb. People felt pity for his lot and give his money. Just then,another begger appeared at the scene. "please give me something.I have not eaten anything since yesterday," he cried to the people.But nobody listened to his cry of distress or pen help.Nobody gave him money.        The second begger then saw the first begger.The first begger's bowl was full with coins and rupees because people took pity on him for his dumbness.He felt jealous of the first begger.He slowly walked upto the first begger and cried aloud,"You are a cheat.      Once a Dog stole a piece of meat from the shop of a butcher. He ran away as fast as he could. On his way, There was a narrow bamboo bridge over a stream. When the dog was on the bridge, he saw his own image on the clear water of the stream.He took his own image for anotherdog carrying a piece of meat."I must get that piece of meat too,"thought the dog.So,he challenged his image with a growl. As soon as he opened his mouth,his own piece fell into the stream.Thus the poor dog lost what he had in his greed for more. Moral : Grasp all lose all.
